Sloped Bottom Fire Department Garage Doors

Sloped Bottom Fire Department Garage Doors

Not every fire department has ideal opening conditions. Some are exceptionally wide or tall where others might have low headroom or an obstruction positioned in a difficult spot. One condition in particular can be difficult to overcome; sloped or uneven thresholds.

Fire Department Garage Doors Sloped for Uneven Threshold

A sloped opening severely limits the options available with regard to fire department garage doors. Overhead doors, in general, require an even threshold. Without one, the door can bow and sag – voiding the warranty and causing damage.
This was the reason we introduced the option for sloped bottom fire department doors. By incorporating a sloping bar or section at the bottom of our doors to match the threshold, ArmRLite is able to provide doors that will retain their 20 year welded frame warranty without any gaps under the door.
If you’re current project is suffering from a sloped threshold and are interested in our fire department garage doors, please contact us.
