ArmRLite Advantage: Non-Traditional Sizes and Openings

ArmRLite has been leading the way in custom glass garage door options for more than 60 years. We custom fabricate each door based on project requirements rather than use a one-size-fits-all approach. While some of our competitors focus on “standard” sizes and options at the expense of non-traditional applications, ArmRLite has continued to push the boundaries of our industry by offering unique, value-added options for our glass garage door products.
Custom Garage Doors: Extended Sizes and Additional Egress Options
Non-traditional garage door sizes are typically wider than 24’ or narrower than 8’. Many manufacturers limit their door sizes to fit within this range. Others further limit their offerings to only select sizes within this range. ArmRLite is different. Our exclusive welded construction allows us to offer door widths up to 30’ wide; the widest overhead sectional glass garage doors available on the market today. We’re also able to supply doors in smaller sizes such as 4’wide x 3’high for bar tops and counters. In addition, ArmRLite can supply door widths and heights in custom sizes like 7’-2 1/3” wide or 27’-5 ¾” wide. Whatever your opening width happens to be up to 30’ wide, we can make a door that will work for you.
In addition to non-traditional openings, egress options can also be difficult for other manufacturers to accommodate. While ArmRLite can supply ADA complaint pass doors and 4” step over pass doors within our glass garage doors, sometimes customers just want to have a matching stationary door. This is no issue for ArmRLite as we can easily design matching entrance doors to line up with our adjacent sectional door(s) on the same project if needed. Matching fixed entrance doors are stationary swing-out single doors; like what you would see in a storefront. This egress option allows customers to keep their wide sectional doors that exceed the limits of a built-in pass door, but still have an adjacent egress option to enter and exit the space easily. ArmRLite also offers gate options as well.
