ArmRLite’s CPD# is ARL-M-1.
NFRC certification is a testament to ArmRLite’s commitment to excellence and innovation in meeting thermal testing requirements. To maintain our NFRC certification, we undergo laboratory retesting every five years and rigorous inspections by an independent third party to ensure that our Custom C.I. product line and manufacturing facility consistently exceed industry standards.
The Custom C.I. model features our exclusive heli-arc welded frame. Custom C.I. is the largest wind-loaded aluminum and glass overhead sectional door available on the market. With its impressive size up to 30’2” and superior construction, the Custom C.I. is an investment in quality, reliability, and energy efficiency.
What truly sets ArmRLite’s Custom C.I. apart is its NFRC Package, which offers maximum insulation values while helping comply with local and state-wide energy codes. Every Custom C.I. Model with NFRC Package has a permanent label along with a temporary label that itemizes specific ratings for U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, Visible Light Transmittance, and Air Infiltration based on the insulated glass unit installed in the door(s). This package is essential in helping our customers comply with local energy codes as building codes continue to become stricter and more specific regarding energy efficiency.
ArmRLite’s Water Resistant Package with polyurethane expanding foam injected directly into the 4-sided extrusions is a combinable option with the NFRC Package. Unlike polystyrene sheets, polyurethane foam fills all the nooks and crannies to achieve a much higher level of coverage resulting in a door with superior water resistance capabilities.
