ArmRLite can manufacture our aluminum Custom CI model up to 30’ wide. However, a door of this size does have limitations and restrictions on options so as not to compromise the function of the sectional door.
Requirements for Garage Doors 30’ Wide
Please keep these requirements and restrictions in mind when specifying or planning for an over sized sectional door.
Headroom: Extended size garage doors require more headroom than a smaller sized door. The headroom has to be sufficient to fit the larger track and spring assembly needed to lift and operate the door. Please contact our customer support staff regarding the specific headroom requirements for your door based on the width, height, and infill panel/glazing.
Glazing: 30’ wide garage doors can contain a max glass thickness of traditional 1/8” or ¼” tempered or acrylic/polycarbonate glazing. For doors that need insulated glass, we can do multi-wall polycarbonate in lieu of a traditional dual pane glass due to weight.
Finishes: Standard clear anodize. Black or Dark bronze anodize and custom paint available with extended lead times.
